The most important thing I believe I have ever shared is this concept of thinking our worlds into existence. It is a powerful truth for each of our lives.

Joel 2:28 says And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions”

This promise from God began to be fulfilled on the day of Pentecost, when the Holy Spirit was poured out, and it was continued in the converting grace and miraculous gifts conferred on both Jews and Gentiles.

Did you catch that part about young men shall see visions?

That is exactly what young people both men and women do today. They see visions. Think about the world around us. Every accomplishment, idea, man made law. The wisdom that surrounds us at all levels. The medical doctors as they slowly work at understanding and repairing the things we destroy in our God created bodies. The engineers, designers, mechanics, truck drivers, construction workers, and so on. The list is endless but if you take time you will see that each individual contributes to and influences our world in some way. Look around you, everything you have in your home today started out as someone’s vision, an idea! Do you see the power of thoughts in your life? It is incredibly powerful!

With that in your mind I would like for you to think about your world today. The first thing to consider is your own thoughts. How do they influence your world? Are your thoughts positive, moving forward towards a vision in your life. Or are you consumed by negative thoughts about situations or people that are outside of your control? Do you have a vision for your life? Or do you just live day to day wondering where you are going to end up? Are your thoughts consuming you with thoughts about some person that causes you to lose focus on the important things in the development of your world? Can you say you are building a world for yourself or are you just aimlessly wandering through life?

The first step!

Take a look at yourself. Really! Take time to go stand in front of a mirror and look at yourself. Then spend the next few days analyzing and thinking about who you are. I have a feeling there are a lot of people out there that do not even have a clue who they are. I have worked with professional hypnotist and psychologist that say the saddest thing they find in their patients is that the majority of people do not know who they are so they change constantly looking for a person they like and hope someone else will like as well. Isn’t that sad? It may be sad but it is not necessary.

To start with we all need to understand that we can not control anything other than ourselves. The only thing we can control is our own thoughts and hence actions. The most important thoughts we can control are the ones that develop our inner selves. This is usually a world where hidden thoughts and ideas develop and eventually manifest spilling out into our lives.
